And as so many have commented on my head shots, I owe everything to Rick Bern, photographer extraordinaire at He i.s a kind, funny, big-hearted genuis, and is even willing to take shots in the hot Berkshire sun with swarms of bees around. Okay, he might not want to do that often but you get the point. He's fantastic.

Maria was the perfect speaker at our Women's Philanthropy Board meeting. She quickly captured the interest of our large group with her incredible honesty, wit and sense of humor, and kept us engaged throughout the evening. She taught us, inspired us, challenged us to reflect and most importantly, stimulated conversations that carried on long after the event was over. Our members have raved about the program she put together, and we would invite her back in a heartbeat.
